Teletouch - Hawk Electronics Div. signs 3-year Sponsorship deal for annual Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl; Hosts Global Calling and new photo Center for attending Troops

Hawk Electronics Official Cellular and Consumer Electronics Sponsor

Teletouch Communications, Inc. (OTC: TLLE), a leading U.S. cellular and mobile electronics retailer today announced that its Hawk Electronics division renewed its sponsorship of the ESPN operated Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl in an exclusive deal over three years. A sell-out in 2007 with over 44,000 spectators, this year’s 2008 bowl game between selected Mountain West Conference and Conference USA will be aired on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. (CDT) on ESPN, live from the Amon G. Carter Stadium at the Texas Christian University campus in Ft. Worth.

T. A. “Kip” Hyde, Jr., Teletouch President and Hawk Electronics CEO stated, “The success of last year’s bowl game and surrounding event activities provided Hawk’s direct sales teams a great opportunity and venue to close a number of corporate sales, as well as increase the brand’s overall awareness in our largest market.”

Hyde continued, “We are proud to continue as an integral part of the ESPN-team of bowl partners honoring all of the men and women in uniform proudly serving our country. Thousands of service personnel attended the 2007 bowl game, and we were pleased to give many an opportunity to talk with their friends, family and fellow soldiers around the globe. This year, we are adding a new photo area, where all bowl attendees will be able to take pictures at the game, and then Hawk will post them live on a special Internet site created just for this event. What better way to bring in the New Year than by watching great football and honoring our great American heroes.”

Tom Starr, the Executive Director of the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl added, “We are pleased that Teletouch and Hawk Electronics have extended their bowl partnership agreement for another three years. Hawk brought a lot of ‘game’ to last year’s event, honoring our troops on–TV, in-stadium and by hosting the Military Chalet-Global Calling Center — providing free calls to anywhere in the world for all military personnel and their families. With the addition of their new Bowl Game Photo Center, folks from around the world will have the opportunity to see and print pictures of their friends and loved ones at the game. ”
